Brother
Ted, as he is affectionately called, is
doing his part to obey Jesus' command to
"Go into all the world and preach the
Gospel to every creature." Backed and
supported by loyal members of CFC, he
appears at meetings, conventions, TV
shows, rodeos, groups, churches, and
other scheduled appointments in his
cowboy boots, Levis, and Stetson hat to
proclaim
the Word of God.
Brother Ted is the editor/publisher of
the Christian Ranchman, a Christian
livestock tabloid newspaper that shares
the Word of God through testimonies from
its readers all over the world. The
newspaper is circulated throughout the
U.S., Canada, and many other foreign
countries.
Besides preaching and publishing,
Brother Ted is also the author of many
Gospel Tracts, Bible Studies, and a
syndicated column entitled, "Rule Book
Talk" that is published monthly in many
livestock magazines and newspapers.
After answering the Lords' call to
preach, he attended and graduated from
Southwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He has
pastored two churches and had a radio
broadcast in the Rocky Mountains called
"Cowboy Chapel."
It has not always been this way. Before
he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ
and accepted the call to preach, he had
a diverse background as a rodeo hand,
horse trainer, ranch manager, resort
motel manager and a Florida
bar/nightclub manager.
After becoming born again, he founded
Cowboys for Christ in 1970 with a small,
but dedicated, group of supporters
working with cowboys in the rodeo
profession. The ministry grew and
expanded into all aspects of the
livestock industry and is now reaching
into 29 countries.
God in continuing to open new doors for
the ministry to serve and share Jesus.
